I also run a 50+ Class every Friday and Circuit
Training every Wednesday evening at Wembury Village Hall.
Circuit Training Wednesday 7pm - 8pm
Circuit
training is a series of different exercises structured to encourage strength, endurance & flexibility but most importantly general health,
fitness & wellbeing. The advantage of circuit training is that it can be performed at your own level of fitness, the harder you work the
harder it feels, but each station (exercise) can be tailored to the fitness level of the participant. Various pieces of gym equipment
are used plus your own body weight during individual exercises. Accompanied to music, each exercise is performed to a specific number of
seconds before moving on to the next station. All exercise should be fun, designed to your own unique needs but beneficial to your
health.
50+ Class Friday 10am - 11am
The 50+ class was started up as a facility to provide exercise to those who’s health, age and/or medical condition hindered
their ability to engage fully in physical exercises. The class now accommodates a full range of fitness levels but by using the Swiss
Ball (a large rubber ball) the exercises can be carried out in a safe manner, respectful to the individual but improve wellbeing for all.
Each exercise conditions the main muscle groups - chest, back & legs plus the core muscles, those which maintain posture. Working
through the exercise routine joints are encouraged to perform a range of movements necessary for day to day living, strengthen muscles that
support joints & maintain a recommended cardiovascular level, keeping the heart pumping! Music is played, laughter is guaranteed &
fun is had.
Please contact me for latest information regarding
these classes.
